74 degrees here in Missouri this past Monday. Wow! I love that Missouri has winter, yet can give us a brief break and a chance to accumulate some vitamin D every once in a while. It was a perfect opportunity to enjoy the girls and play around with my new camera. Eventually, I hope to get a great camera with lenses and filters, but for now I need to stick with what I have. I love photography and always have, but it is an expensive hobby and one that I need to work my way up. Be gentle with the comments please
. I know I have some really amazing photographers that pop onto this blog.
The warthog is one of the “ugliest” animals to most but I find them rather fascinating. They are a complicated little creature!
Dang fencing kept getting in the way, but man do I love elephants. I have always had this weird connection to them. Much more than liking them.
Oh boy! All these girls with a whole bunch of attitude. I am not sure which one has the most, but I know we may be in trouble one day!
Half-Pint has always had her own sense of style. From the time she was a baby she has always had this eccentric, artsy with a bit of rock and roll fashion sense. She is a complicated little person. I wonder what she may be when she grows up. Architect, engineer, fashion designer or maybe something completely different. This one is like an onion with lots of layers
I was backpacking Lil Bit for most of the zoo trip. See the new hair cut??? I chopped it!!!
Beaner, Superman, Half-Pint and Super-girl enjoying the day at the zoo!
Nothing like a day full of sun, friends and the animals to make a person happy. Life is good when we take time to slow down and realize that not everything has to be so serious all the time. A concept I struggle with personally but I really want my girls to understand.

I love to see that your taking pictures! I like the one of Half-Pint the best. A great job cropping the picture and the contrast of the hat and sweater is “well done”
